| Chemistry Cards - Fish |
|
This game is played just like the traditional version of Fish except that a player asks ALL players at once if anyone has an ELEMENT. Objective Be the first player to get rid of all cards by forming matches. A match is a set of three or more cards with the same number. If no one runs out of cards then the player with the most matches wins. If two players run out of cards at the same time, then the player with the most matches wins. Setup Deal seven cards to each player if there are three players. Deal five cards to each player if there are four or five players. Place the remaining cards in the center face down. Play The player to the left of the dealer starts. This player asks all other players for a specific element. Players must ask for cards by element name. If someone has the card, that player gives the card to the player who asked for it. If the player has a match (at least 3 cards with the same number) the player places it on the table. The player then asks for another card. If no one has the card, the player picks one from the center pile. If the player picks the card that was requested, then the player can lay down the match and take another turn. A player can NOT ask for wild cards. If a player gets a card with the same number as a match on the table, then the player may add it to the set. Variations The game can be played where the players must form molecules or sequences. |
