WHAT IT IS
Over-the-Hill is based on a carnival game which requires the player to roll a bowling ball over a hill so that the ball remains in a valley between the hill and a ramp. The game is challenging because the user must give the ball just the right amount of energy. If the player pushes the ball too lightly, the ball will not make it over the hill. If the player pushes the ball too hard, the ball will return back over the hill.
WHAT YOU WILL GET
The class set includes five student tracks and one teacher track. The tracks are adjustable to support a variety of experiments and activities. A manual includes four activities.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Use the set to learn about:
- Conservation of energy (Ei + Win = Ef + Wout)
- Potential energy (PE = mgh)
- Kinetic energy (KE = ½mv2)
- Rotational Kinetic Energy (KE = ½Iω2 where I = 2/5mr2 and ω = v/r)
- Rolling friction losses
